New for 2015 - Body Power Class

This class will be an all over body strength and toning session. It will incorporate TRX, dumbbells, Kettlebells, barbells, resistance bands, and of course your own body, to help develop core strength and endurance. This is vital when improving performance, be it for cycling, running, field sports or just everyday living!  It will also help banish bingo wings, beer bellies and melt away muffin tops, nutritional advice will be given to help you shape up making Club Whitford the one stop shop for the body you have always dreamed of, now who doesn’t want that especially after the festive season?

Pedal Power

TRX Class Every Wednesday  6-6.45pm

The concept of the TRX suspension training is pretty basic: you use two cables on your feet or hands to partially suspend your body and use your own body weight as resistance. TRX helps to build strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, core and joint stability, all while preventing injuries. We offer both indoor and outdoor classes, depending on the weather. Aqua Aerobics Classes

Aqua aerobics is not just about splashing around in the pool - it's an excellent way to burn off fat, build strength and increase aerobic capacity. Aqua aerobics classes are complimentary for Club Whitford members and €8 per class for non-members.

BLT Class  is a 30 minute class designed to work your bum, legs and tums! Our Monday 6.15-6.45 evening  BLT class is currently complimentary for members. and €8 for non-members.

Spinning Classes

Spinning is mobile, indoor cycling which provides a cardio workout and body toning. Club Whitford offers a 6 week term of spinning (1 class per week). Call Club Whitford on 053 91 40404 for details about the next term of spinning classes.

Run for Fun

If you enjoy running but dislike the solitude, you can join Shane and members of the Club Whitford running club every Saturday morning at 10.30am. Meeting at Club Whitford for a group run on the fabulous Raven Point route. Shane has run competitively since 1989, running 15 marathons to date including New York, London and Berlin. He finished 6th in the Conemara Ultra 2006 race and 2nd place in the 2013 50 mile Dingle Ultra race so as you can see he has a wealth of knowledge to share. All fitness levels welcome. Annual fee of €25 applies.
