National Ploughing Championships 2012
The National Ploughing Championships 2012 will be held between 25th- 27th of September 2012 on a site at Heathpark, New Ross, Co. Wexford.
It is Europe's largest Agricultural Trade Show. This Wexford Farming Festival gathered 189,000 visitors last year and more than 1,100 exhibitors.
This Wexford event caters for every sector of farming: renewable energy, agri technology, food, animals, motors, sports and leisure and more that is relevant to ploughing.
The first National Ploughing Championships were organised with 40 entries. Today over 300 competitors from 32 countries take part in the ploughing challenge.
2012 National Ploughing Championships will be the 81st. in history and for the first time in 14 years it is returning to Wexford.
